Summer Reading is HERE!
The 2017 Summer Reading Program is underway! This year’s theme is “Build A Better World”! We are encouraging our young adults to not only read with us this summer, but also to discover ways to make a difference in our community through engaging programming and activities!
The teen program offers goals and prizes for grades 6-12. For every 2 books you read, you get a grand prize entry slip. Read 8 books to complete the program. Once you complete the program, you can read more to earn more grand prize entry slips. Grand prizes include: GoPro Hero, 2 Kindle Fire’s (one red, one blue), Mini Drone, Bluetooth Waterproof Speaker, and Wireless Headphones. In addition to grand prizes, there will be several other smaller prizes given away at various programs throughout the summer. Our Pizza & Prize Party will wrap up the program on Thursday, July 20th @ 5:30pm. Teens who complete the program will receive a special invitation to the party and be eligible for the grand prizes.
Teen reading logs may be picked up at the Circulation Desk.

TAB – TEEN ADVISORY BOARD!
JOIN US FOR OUR NEXT MEETING WILL BE FRIDAY, APRIL 7TH, 2017 FROM 4-5PM!
TAB’s give young people a VOICE in creating and sustaining programs for teens at the library. TAB members can give input on YA collections, contribute to blogs, help lead/create programming, volunteer at events, organize community service projects, and influence how we serve teens!
BONUS: being involved with a Teen Advisory Board looks GREAT on college applications!
