Curbside Delivery Procedures
We will be offering curbside service beginning June 8th! You are limited to five items per pickup and you may come as many times as you would like, or every day. These items must be available at the East Moline Public LibraryThere are no charges for items at this time. As well, you may check out items with fines on your account as long as those fines are under $50. You may not walk up to the library to request books, you must call or email. Patrons cannot return any items to a staff member, they must be placed in the book drop.
How to request:
1. Call the library and leave a voice message with your name and phone number asking to request items
2. Use Encore (the online PrairieCat Catalog) to place holds
3. Use our email address email@example.com to request items
4. Use “Contact Us” on the website to request items When your items are ready for pickup, the library will call you and let you know. You may pick up your items any time during our curbside service hours. When staff calls you they will give you further information regarding pickup. There are some changes to traffic flow in our parking lot. If you are picking up items, please use the western (closest to 7th St) entrance from 16th Ave. If you are dropping items in the bookdrop, please use the eastern (closest to the library) entrance from 16th Ave. There will be no access from 17th Ave during curbside hours.
