The East Moline Public Library has a meeting room available for the public to use. It is available during operating hours when not needed for library-sponsored programs. All meetings held at the library must be open to the public and free of charge.
The meeting room cannot be reserved more than 60 days in advance. If you are a recurring group, you must re-submit a form in August, January, and May to continue to hold your times.
To reserve the meeting room, please fill out the
Meeting Room Application and print it out and bring it into the library or email it to eastmolinepl@gmail.com. Once your form is received, staff will review it and contact you to confirm the reservation.
It is the responsibility of each organization to notify the library of any changes to the contact person or organization phone number. Anyone under the age of 18 must have an adult co-sign the application; adult supervision must be provided during meeting room use.
The use of the meeting room in no way implies library endorsement of ideas expressed in the meetings or of the aims and goals of the organization using the facilities. If a question is raised as to the objectives or activities of anyone using the meeting room, the Library Board has the final authority in granting or refusing permission for use of the room. Organizations may not advertise the use of the library facility in any way that implies sponsorship by the library other than to indicate the name and address of the facility.
